So, what will this cost me?

Just try and get a straight answer from other web site businesses. The challenge is in how much work is involved. The number of pages, programming, graphics, video work and other factors determines how much time the web designer spends creating the site and of course, time is money! Also, there are recurring costs (like hosting, domain name fees and maintenance/updates). The recurring costs are (hosting/domain names) around $100/year and the maintenance varies with the package you choose. More details are on the Maintenance/Updates page.

The scope of work is different for each site and we will develop a custom proposal for your business only after carefully considering your specific needs. However, our experience for most sites shows that a:

  • small site costs around $500
  • medium site costs around $1000
  • large site costs around $2500

Yea, ok, so what's small, medium and large?

A small site is simple, with usually less than 10 pages, simple graphics, no animations, no shopping carts and is typically used for a static presentation or businesses with no real Internet commerce component.

A medium site is 10-20 pages, with more detailed structure because the business is larger or has a more detailed Internet presence.

A large site is one with an e-commerce component, or a complicated structure, many layers of pages, or one that offers additional web services like blogs, customer resource management, file uploads or other custom programming.
